Visual concept for an exhibition at Liljevalchs Konsthall. Vårsalongen was established in 1921 and is a jury-evaluated exhibition open for all to apply to.
The design refers to the classic candy bag, which most Swedes remember and have a positive relation to. Like a bag of mixed candy Vårsalongen has something for everybody and is impossible not to like. The 2183 small dots in the background of the poster represent the number of people who applied to this years Vårsalong. The 157 big circles – together forming the exhibition name – represent the people participating this year.
